Middle/high school, and college aged poets whose poetry was born in the Bronx, NY, USA. These are our assembled voices, thoughts, feelings, secrets, memories and visions. We’ve discussed with dignitaries; competed with collegiates; we’re a stew of cultures; a quilt of heritages, and we come in many shades, shapes and sizes. We are now, and we are poised and ready to rock this tiny world. What you experience here is ours; visceral and aggressive, inquisitive and passive, and always true.

FYI
Ms.preisner said if ma class (447) keep being bad then we not gonna do poetry slam, or mock trail. she went crazy on us the other day. she even stopped collecting our homework journals. We been doing journals since last year. :( I think we really pissed her off this time. it's like every thing we ever did since 6 all added up and she's tired of it..it's kinda sad though.

why don't u try to do something about it, better yet the whole class has to do something about it if u want to remain in the top class
ReplyDeletedamn talory u jus had to let them know we messed up.
ReplyDeleteNow everyone knows ya'll business. But if you want to share, then so be it. The suggestions are correct by the way, especially from Dalis and Edwin. Every teacher, every year has a problem with students, lashing out/hollering is a mechanism (way) for helping to get you back on track. It doesn't always work, but then again, there isn't a method that works for every situation, if there were, that'd be the "super-teacher!" I'm sure hollering and threatening way a last resort for Ms. Preisner though...Wasn't it?
ReplyDeleteOne more thing, please check your grammar and capitalization on here, we've got the world watching this blog!
ReplyDeleteHey, hollering always works for me..ha,ha.... Privileges automatically come to those that deserve them...hard work....citizenship....cooperation....respect for all...positive attitudes...honorable...etc.
ReplyDeleteIf this does not describe you or your class then changes need to be made by all, IMMEDIATELY. As Prof. Edwin once said, "It is time to honor the honorable."
This is YOUR senior year, it will only be as good, bad , or indifferent as YOU make it. As for your journals, keep writing in them...they will ultimately become your inspiration.
All eyes are on you!
